Bollywood came alive —albeit for wrong reasons — on Saturday, as the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) grilled three top actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Deepika’s manager Karishma Kapoor while it arrested Kshitij Ravi Prasad, a former executive of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death-related drug case. The day unfolded as Deepika took the media Paparazzi by surprise as she walked quietly without any security into Evelyn House, the guesthouse of the Mumbai Port Trust near the Taj Mahal Palace which has been converted into the makeshift NCB office, at 9.48 am on Saturday.   The top brass of the central government on Sunday flayed the opposition over its members' "unruly conduct" in Rajay Sabha during the passage of the two farm bills, condemning their behaviour as "shameful" and unprecedented in Parliament's history.   Pakistan's Parliament has extended for four months an ordinance that allowed Indian death-row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav to file an appeal against his conviction in a high court as required by the International Court of Justice. The International Court of Justice (Review and Reconsideration) Ordinance promulgated in May was set to expire on September 17 but the National Assembly or the lower house on Monday through a voice vote extended it for four months, the Dawn News reported. The ordinance was launched to implement the verdict of the ICJ which asked Pakistan to provide effective review of the sentence given to Jadhav by a military court. Jadhav, the 50-year-old retired Indian Navy officer, was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of "espionage and terrorism" in April 2017.
